Talking Heads was founded in 2007 by Narayan Krishnaswamy and Darshan Chinnappa, who met during previous stints at FirstSource (formerly ICICI OneSource) and Tesco. Our vision is to make a positive difference to the HR execution capability of businesses through unparalleled thought and uncompromising delivery.

After nearly two years down the road not taken, Talking Heads' gutsy business approach and innovative solutions across the HR spectrum have added a dash of flavour to the plain vanilla world of HR. Our offerings include include Interim HR Support and Work Overflow Management. Our clients are market leaders in the storage, graphics design, retail, hospitality, digital media and contact centre spaces.

For a self-funded startup, Talking Heads' glory is entirely earned. We have played hardball with established HR heavyweights on an equal footing. We have challenged many market myths, and busted some. We have promised a lot, and delivered a little more. Most significantly, we have proved that it takes more than talk, or size, or pedigree to be the H in HR

Meet the Founders

Narayan Krishnaswamy has held HR leadership roles at Tesco, FirstSource and Accenture and Marico Industries across Bangalore, Bombay and the UK. At Talking Heads, he anchors business development and the website in his role as Co-Founder.

His work spans a decade across operations HR, recruitment, industrial relations and business development across the retail, information technology, FMCG and outsourcing sectors. His areas of expertise are employer branding, innovation, delivering cutting edge solutions across the HR spectrum and writing.

Narayan is a 1999 alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, India's premier HR post graduate school. Apart from his drive to build successful businesses, Narayan has serious interests in free enterprise, music and the meaning of life. He airs his views on all three subjects, and some others close to his heart, on Talk, the Talking Heads blog.

Darshan Chinnappa shoulders operations and organisational metrics at Talking Heads. His role encompasses project delivery and implementation across a host of Clients. He has gained experience in the areas of HR Strategy, HR process redesign, Competency framework development & Balanced Score Card.

Darshan has worked on assignments in diverse sectors such as Retail, Information technology and Business Process Outsourcing with clients like Target, Tesco, Accenture, Kieon etc. Prior to Talking Heads, he has worked with Tesco, ICICI OneSource, Mainstay and ConceptUniv.

Darshan has a Bachelors degree from Bangalore University
